Police say 25-year-old Nicole Smith was heading westbound on East Lincoln Avenue around 6:15 a.m. when she collided with a car and then a Bee-Line bus by Summit Avenue.

News 12 has been told nine people, including the bus driver, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Upon investigation, police learned that Smith was involved in an accident in Manhattan around midnight. She had been treated at a hospital and released.

In the Mount Vernon accident, Smith has been charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs.
