MTA considers MetroCard fare hike

Commuters voiced their concerns about the MTA's proposed fare hikes at a public hearing Tuesday evening in Westchester. The agency is looking to raise the base fare on MetroCards from $2.50 to $2.75.

Commuters voiced their concerns about the MTA's proposed fare hikes at a public hearing Tuesday evening in Westchester.
The agency is looking to raise the base fare on MetroCards from $2.50 to $2.75.
Metro-North riders could also see an increase on weekly and monthly passes.
The hearing took place at the New York Power Authority building on Main Street in White Plains.
