A Metropolitan Transportation Authority conductorwas attacked by two teens in Port Jervis and suffered a fractured jaw, according to police.
Port Jervis police say they responded last Thursday, at approximately 9:30 a.m., to the Metro-North train station for a report of an MTA employee assaulted on the job.
Police say the 13- and 15-year-old assailants fled the scene, were located and charged with assault.
Authorities say the conductor required surgery and was released from the hospital the next day.
News 12 is told both teens were released to their custodial guardians and issued appearance tickets to return to Orange County Family Court.
