A memorial service was held Sunday for Peggy Hall Perez-Olivo, who was ambushed and shot as she drove with her husband in Millwood.Friends and family gathered at the Beecher Funeral Home on Bedford Road in Pleasantville to mourn the tragic loss. Police say Perez-Olivo and her husband, former lawyer, Carlos Perez-Olivo were shot last Saturday along Route 100 after a driver forced their car to the side of the road. According to investigators the suspect struggled with the couple in their car and shot them. Carlos survived gunshot wounds to the stomach, however, Peggy died Monday from a fatal shot to the head.Police are still investigating the incident and have released a sketch of the suspect. Meanwhile, the community and fellow Chappaqua residents are struggling to understand the violence.
