group of young cheerleaders from Mount Vernon can now call themselves champions
after placing first in the American Youth Cheer Nationals.
The
competition was held in Orlando, Florida.
Mount
Vernon United Cheer practiced for months, and all that hard work paid
off.
The
girls took home two trophies. The team won first place in
the 14 and under competition and third place for the 10 and under.
