Mount Vernon residents marched against violence Wednesday as the city battles a spike in crime.
Marchers went down East Prospect Avenue where the latest victim, Nassan Yitzhak Benisrael, was shot and killed Feb. 4.
There have been three slayings so far in Mount Vernon in 2009. The city has been reeling from 14 murders over the past 14 months.
