Mount Vernon police say a teen was arrested when officers found five loaded guns at his home.

Police say they went to the house around 5 p.m. to investigate a past assault, and that a search uncovered five loaded semiautomatic guns.

The 17-year-old isn't being named due to his age, but he was arrested and charged with attempted assault and multiple counts of weapons possession.
