Road work will begin on a pair of streets in Mount Vernon, as part of the city's "Paving it Forward" initiative.

Milling and paving will be happening on East 5th Street and Warwick Avenue throughout the day.
Work will be ongoing until 6 p.m. Drivers will not be able to park on those roads while that work is going on.
The city asks that commuters drive with caution if going through the area.
