The Westchester County district attorney has announced the indictment of a Mount Vernon mail carrier accused of stealing more than $78,000 in checks.

The Westchester County district attorney has announced the indictment of a Mount Vernon mail carrier accused of stealing more than $78,000 in checks.
Alberto Pino, 31, of Mount Vernon, was arraigned on Oct. 5.
He is accused of stealing Department of Treasury checks between January and March 2021.
Pino is accused of swiping just three checks, but they were valued at $77,365, $600, and $509 respectively.
