2ds agoThe Mount Vernon City School District is celebrating its drumline group, the "Ice Cold Experience." The group won first place in an annual competition at Uncommon Charter High School in Brooklyn last month. News 12 was told that there was fierce competition from Long Island, Connecticut and Westchester teams. The Ice Cold Experience features mostly women drummers, and the big win came during Women's History Month.
