A motorcyclist was killed in a wrong-way crash in Putnam County early Sunday morning.
Fire officials say 22-year-old motorcyclist Jeffrey Divine was killed on the Taconic State Parkway, north of Bryant Pond Road.
They say a minivan driving southbound in the northbound lanes struck the motorcyclist head-on at around 3:45 a.m.
The driver of the minivan, 40-year-old Melina Espinal, of Danbury, Connecticut, and two other passengers were treated for minor injuries.
Police say Espinal entered the northbound lane at Peekskill Hollow Road and drove the wrong way for almost a mile before crashing into Divine.
A section of the Taconic State Parkway was shut down during the accident investigation, but has since reopened.
There is no word on whether Espinal will be charged in the accident.
