The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for most of the lower Hudson Valley through Wednesday for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties. Thursday for Ulster and Dutchess counties. Heat indices will be pushing from 95 to 100 degrees.
OVERNIGHT: Partly cloudy and cool. Lows in the lower 60s.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny with highs near 80. Lows in upper 60s.
TUESDAY: Noticeably more humid. Mostly sunny and warm with highs near 90. Feels like mid-90s.
WEDNESDAY: Sunny and hot with highs near 90. Feels like upper 90s.
THURSDAY & FRIDAY: Hottest days in the forecast. Temperatures will be in the mid-90s and feel like near 100. Near record highs.
