WHAT'S NEXT: The weather looks typical for late July through much of the week with a few chances for a pop-up shower or thunderstorm on Monday and Tuesday afternoon. The temperatures and humidity gradually rise into the 90s by the middle of the week. The spike in the heat and humidity will likely cause some heat alerts to be issued by midweek and toward the start of next weekend.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy and muggy with a slight chance for an afternoon shower or thunderstorm. Highs near 87.
MONDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies along with a chance for a passing stray shower. Lows near 70.
TUESDAY: Sun and clouds. Chance for a late-day shower or storm into Tuesday evening. Highs near 86. Lows near 70.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, hot and humid with highs near 89. Real Feel: 91-95. Lows near 72.
