News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo says scattered showers in the morning will clear by midday ahead of a breezy afternoon with temperatures in the mid-70s.
NEW: The tropics are becoming very active but right now nothing will threaten us here in the Hudson Valley. Fall begins Thursday evening and we will kick off the first full day Friday feeling like it.
NOW: A mild night ahead before scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms on Thursday.
NEXT: Breezy and MUCH colder behind the front, into the 40s Thursday night!
OVERNIGHT: Mostly to partly cloudy with showers arriving early Thursday morning. Lows down to 65.
THURSDAY: Scattered showers with an isolated storm through the morning, ending by midday. Clearing out and becoming breezy late. Highs near 74 early, falling to near 50 at night.

FRIDAY: Sunny and breezy. Much cooler! Highs struggle to reach 62. Feeling like the upper 50s. Lows down into the 40s, and 30s in highest elevations.
THIS WEEKEND: Mostly sunny and seasonably cool. Highs in the upper 60s to near 70, warmer on Sunday. Lows in the 50s, 40s higher elevations.
MONDAY - TUESDAY: Next disturbance has the chance to bring a few showers. Not a big deal as of now. Highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s.
