More than a dozen cats are up for adoption after being rescued from a Mount Kisco fire in August.
The owner of the cats, 86-year-old Chrystine NIcholas, lost her life trying to save them. The cats are currently in the care of the SPCA of Westchester in Briarcliff Manor
Some of them had to be treated for upper respiratory infections, and others had minor burns.
So far, the Wetchester SPCA says three of the cats have been adopted, including two by the victim's family.
