More schools switch to remote learning after positive tests

Positive coronavirus tests continue to affect schools across the Hudson Valley.
The Arlington Central School District will be fully remote this week after an increase in positive cases there.
Mount Vernon High School is also closed until further notice after an individual tested positive. This is impacting special education students who have been going for in-person learning. As for students in grades nine through 12, they have been on remote learning since the beginning of the school year.
Yonkers Middle High School building will be closed for students and nonessential staff today through Friday, Dec. 11. On Monday, Dec. 14, the school will reopen for student and staff to resume hybrid instruction.
