In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Montefiore New Rochelle will provide free breast screenings for people who are uninsured and underinsured.

The exams will take place this Saturday, Oct. 8, and Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Montefiore New Rochelle Breast Center at 23 Washington Ave.

The center says that anyone in need of an examination is welcome, regardless of insurance or documentation status.

• Breast exams for women 18 and older

• Mammograms for women 54 and older

• Women's health education and information

• Co-pays apply only to those with insurance

• FREE exams for all uninsured, underinsured, and undocumented women.

Masks are required. Registration is expected, a limited number of walk-in appointments will be available from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
