The boys of James Monroe High School continued their 22-game winning streak, stretching from last year, with a big win Wednesday. Monroe took on Alfred E. Smith High School in their home opener. The defending city champions came out huge and never looked back. By the second inning the Eagles were up 11-0 and finished the game with a 15-0 final score. The Eagles extended their record to 4-0. The men are hoping for back-to-back city championships.
