A Monroe Little League team made history last weekend, winning their first state championship.

They dominated the state intermediate tournament winning four games by an average of 13 runs.

The Monroe team will be in Long Island on Thursday to play in the East Regional.

They'll face teams from Maryland to New Hampshire with a chance to qualify for the Intermediate World Series in California.
