Monmouth Park officials announced that Friday’s scheduled eight-race card was canceled due to extreme heat.
Officials with the track say that all of the canceled races will be brought back as extra races next Friday, Aug. 1.
“Entries will be taken on Sunday, July 27, for next Friday’s card,” officials wrote in a statement.
Racing will resume on Saturday. The first race is expected to begin at 12:50 p.m.
