Neighbors in Stony Point say they are fed up with wild parties at a home on Perrins Peak Road that attract hundreds to the area.

They say noise from the parties over the summer traveled for miles. Stony Point Town Supervisor Jim Moneghan says the town created a new law -- the Nuisance Party Law -- just to try to crack down on the Perrins Peak parties.

Andre Oden, who lives at the home, has already been arrested for a violation, while an alleged partygoer, Ashley Oppong, was arrested in a rape case last month.

Monaghan says the parties charge admission and are money-making rackets. He’s hoping the courts will impose “severe fines” and possibly jail time.

Monaghan also says that these “money making parties” are occurring all over Westchester and the Hudson Valley.

According to the town supervisor, police have investigated reports of guns and exotic animals inside the home but have not confirmed either.
