A mom is seeking justice for her 16-year-old daughter after she says a Peeping Tom filmed the girl at the Galleria at Crystal Run mall in Wallkill.
The mom says her daughter was filmed in the Forever 21 dressing room at the mall.
"I saw an iPhone facing up, propped up on clothing," says the mom, who didn't want to appear on camera. "And I saw someone adjusting it a little better, so I told my daughter to get dressed and get out."
The mom says as she was telling the manager about a phone in the dressing room the suspect walked out of the room with a jacket covering the phone. She demanded security be called and then she says the guy came out of the room apologizing. She says the guy said he wasn't recording anything.
The mom called 911 because she says mall security wouldn't do it. The daughter tried to stop the guy but was afraid to go after him.
The man is described as 6 feet, 3 inches or 6 feet, 4 inches with blonde hair, blue eyes and muscular build. He spoke with a thick Russian accent.
Anyone with information is asked to call Wallkill police.
