Missing Bronx man found stabbed and unconscious miles from his home

Police say a Bronx man who was reported missing was found miles from his home - unconscious with multiple stab wounds.

Isaac Davis, 23, was last seen leaving his home in Morrisania on July 20. Nine days later, he was the victim of a crime in Manhattan's Upper East Side.

According to the NYPD, officers found Davis just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was lying on the sidewalk at the corner of 2nd Avenue and East 96th Street, bleeding heavily.

Police say the 23-year-old suffered stab wounds to his back and left elbow.

Paramedics rushed him to Cornell Hospital, where he is expected to recover, according to the NYPD.

Information about his attacker was not immediately made available.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the NYPD.
