An 8-month-old miracle baby is finally waking up at home this morning.
Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla discharged little Connor Florio on Tuesday.
Baby Connor was born at just 26 weeks and weighed less than 11 ounces. That's about the size of the human heart.
Doctors diagnosed Connor with various medical conditions, and he needed a ventilator for the first 70 days of his life. "It's bitter sweet in a way because there are a lot of people that are going to miss him, but obviously our goal from the very beginning was to get him home," says Dr. Dennis Davidson.
Connor weighed in at just under 11 pounds when he left the hospital.
