More than 2 million Americans could lose food stamps benefits due to the worker requirements for some enrollees, according to a Congressional Budget Office analysis.

The law requires some parents of dependent children to work for their food stamp benefits.

The GOP’s "Big, Beautiful Bill" broadens this, requiring those with kids age 14 and older to work, volunteer, or participate in job training at least 80 hours a month.
