Milford Mayor Ben Blake rode his bicycle to work today on “Bike to Work Day” as part of National Bike Month.

Throughout the month, the city of Milford is hosting several bike-related events.

One of the events includes the Bike Milford Passport Program where residents bike to 12 participating business around the city and receive a stamp for each business they visit.

One stamp equals one entry into a raffle for a chance to win some prizes.

Next week there will also be a Bike Rodeo and Stunt Show.

Officials say Milford is home to 17 miles of bikeable shoreline.

Bicycle routes are marked throughout the city year-round.
