Mike Rizzo
Mike Rizzo is the weekend evening meteorologist for News 12 Westchester and News 12 Hudson Valley.

Rizzo joined News 12 Networks in 2014 as a freelance meteorologist. In 2015 he was welcomed as News 12 Connecticut’s Weekend Meteorologist.
In 2015, Rizzo received a "special mention" award from the New York State Associated Press under the category of "Best Weathercast" for his work at News 12 Connecticut. 
Rizzo graduated from Kean University of New Jersey with a B.S. in Meteorology and an M.A. in Communication Studies. Rizzo embarked on a two week long storm chase research expedition across the Great Plains of the United States. It was during this excursion where he saw his first tornado and was inspired to complete research on the topic.
Rizzo also has a deep appreciation for education and serves as an adjunct professor of communication & public speaking as well as an academic advisor for college students at his alma mater.
At News 12 Westchester and News 12 Hudson Valley Rizzo aims to inspire viewers by delivering creative, personable, and informed weather broadcasts.
