A Middletown mother says the recent incidents in Ferguson are difficult to watch and are bringing back memories of her own son.
Middletown mother Bayinah Coke, who lost her son Lennord Whittle in a police-involved shooting last year, attended a press conference Tuesday in Goshen.
The press conference was held by civil rights attorney Michael Sussman.
Whittle was killed during an incident with Middletown police after allegedly refusing to drop a knife he was carrying.
"It brings back so many memories," she said. "Watching what I saw on TV last night. It was just devastating. There's so many mixed emotions. It's hard to explain."
