Detectives' interview tapes with Michelle Troconis were the center of discussion on Day 10 of the Troconis trial.
Prosecutors played hours of video of her interviews with state police days after Jennifer Dulos went missing - including Troconis informing police how the day Dulos vanished started.
Police interviewed Troconis three different times about Jennifer Dulos' disappearance. Prosecutors say her stories were inconsistent each time.
Troconis is accused of conspiring with her former boyfriend, Fotis Dulos, to kill his estranged wife, then helping him try to hide the crime.
In one of the interviews, Troconis tells detectives Fotis Dulos was with her the morning Jennifer vanished.
"I wake up and go to our bedroom. I turn off my alarm. Fotis wakes up. I go to the bathroom. Get into the shower. I usually don't wash my hair. I take a quick shower. Fotis jumps into the shower with me," says Troconis.
But prosecutors say that was a lie. They state the story Troconis told police was outlined in so-called "alibi scripts" found in Fotis Dulos' home.
Prosecutors also stated in later interviews that Troconis' story changed as the evidence piled up against Fotis Dulos.
After an hour of interview, detectives tell Troconis they think she's lying and show her pictures of Jennifer Dulos' blood.
The state believes Fotis Dulos killed his estranged wife before disposing of her body and that Troconis, his then-girlfriend, helped him cover up the crime.
Troconis' attorney, Jon Schoenhorn, says prosecutors have "mischaracterized" what she said.
"She was trying to be as accurate as possible. Keep in mind, this is after being up for two days. She was arrested at 11:30 p.m. in her pajamas," said Schoenhorn.
Hours after Jennifer Dulos disappeared, video captured Troconis in the passenger seat -- as Fotis stopped at multiple trash bins -- dumping evidence like Jennifer Dulos' blood-soaked shirt and bra, as well as altered license plates.
Fotis Dulos died by suicide in January 2020 shortly after being charged with murder.
