Two heroes were honored in Bridgeport Sunday for saving the lives of three people during a house fire.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal and Rep. Chris Rosario were among the leaders paying special tribute to Chamon Cabezudo and Tyshawn Wright for running into a burning home on Bond Street and saving an elderly woman and two young children.
Retired state trooper Angel Gonzalez says his 86-year-old mother, Ana, is the center of his universe and he is deeply grateful to the men for giving her a new lease on life.
Gonzalez says the two kids now have a chance to grow up knowing they were touched by two angels.
