A man was stabbed and a woman was hit by a car after a brawl at a Yorktown bar Thursday. According to police, an argument at The Sandbar on East Main Street turned violent when a man was stabbed in the parking lot. A woman was then hit by the suspect?s car as he fled the scene. Police returned to the bar Friday morning looking for more evidence and say both victims are lucky to be alive. This is the second case of its kind in Yorktown in the past week. Early Monday, police say a man was stabbed after a fight at the Coach Light Inn on Commerce Street in Yorktown Heights. The suspect in the latest stabbing will be arraigned on assault charges Friday. The woman struck by the car remains in critical condition at the Westchester Medical Center. Police say if she dies, charges could be upgraded.
