Police in Saugerties have tracked down a man wanted in connection with a manslaughter investigation.

Police asked for the public's help in searching for Joseph Karolys, 38, who was last seen in the Town of Rosendale operating a red dump truck with a New York registration 16178NC. Police gave out a description that described him as a white male, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.

The dump truck was located around 10 a.m. Wednesday. Almost two hours later, Karolys was taken into custody.

Police are thanking everyone who responded to their request for assistance.
