A man was shot in buttocks overnight in Mount Vernon. Police say the victim was found on South First Avenue around 1 a.m. today. The victim was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown.

A man was shot in buttocks overnight in Mount Vernon.
Police say the victim was found on South First Avenue around 1 a.m. today. The victim was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown.
Neighbors say they heard about five shots ring out and a car speeding off.
No arrests have been made, and police have not released a motive for the shooting.
