A man was shot in the ankle in Longwood on Monday morning.

Police say it happened at 1015 Fox St. and the victim was conscious and alert.

He was taken to NYC Health+Hospitals/Lincoln and is expected to be okay.

Video taken at the scene shows police tape around a silver Subaru. A black Hylander with TLC plates is also seen with police guarding the vehicle.
