An elderly driver in Yonkers almost drove straight into his own swimming pool early Friday morning.
Officials say the car was hanging at the end of the driveway, on the edge of the pool at a home on Bennett Avenue when they arrived.
Sources say the man hit the wrong pedal.
They say he was not injured.
Crews had to attach a cable to the man's vehicle to pull it back up.
