Police say a Blooming Grove man is facing charges for leading officers on a chase with his young daughter in the vehicle.
Washingtonville police tried to stop Charles Frank, 38, for driving without an inspection sticker on Saturday, but he kept driving for a half mile.
Frank told police he thought there was a warrant out for his arrest and wanted to get his daughter home before he got apprehended. While there was no active warrant on him, records show that Frank didn't have a driver's license. His license has been suspended 16 times.
He is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated unlicensed operation. He was released on $200 cash bail and is due back in court on Dec. 1.
