DAY-BY-DAY FORECAST
It's not how you start but how you finish. We had some snow showers to open the day before temperatures jumped into the lower 40s, which helps to induce melting across the state for midday. Temperatures look to remain in the 40s for the afternoons, looking ahead into the weekend, too. Saturday looks the better of the two weekend days.
It looks less confident that we will see snow showers for Thursday, as a front moves through, bringing a small threat for light snow/mix on Thursday evening after 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. This wouldn't deliver a big impact at all, but just something to be aware of as it passes nearby and rather quickly.
ANOTHER STORM:
Snow is expected from Monday into Tuesday. At this time, a significant storm is not guaranteed, but a few inches of additional snow are possible Monday afternoon into Tuesday, and another snowstorm cannot be ruled out.
Some of the afternoon model guidance is now splitting the storm into pieces - some snow Monday into Tuesday, and some snow into Wednesday. That scenario would be a longer-lasting nuisance, but it would be a minor impact, not a major one.
