A man was struck and killed in a hit-and-run in Mount Hope Monday morning, according to the NYPD.
Police responded to a 911 call for a pedestrian struck at East Tremont and Park avenues at 5:55 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found an unidentified man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirm a white car that was travelling northbound on Park Avenue struck the man and then left the scene.
The driver of the car is still on the run.
No arrests have been made.
