A Bee-Line bus and car collided at a busy intersection in Greenburgh Thursday night, killing the driver of the car.
The crash occurred at Saw Mill River Road and Jackson Avenue. Dozens of rescue crews from several communities rushed to the crash site to try to save the man. However, according to an officer from Hastings on Hudson, the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers at the scene say the Bee-Line bus was not carrying any passengers at the time of the crash. The bus driver is expected to be okay. An investigation into the crash to determine the cause is on-going.
