Man dies after being hit by Metro-North train in New Rochelle
A man struck by a Metro-North train in New Rochelle has died. Police say Fernando Aguilar, 40, died in an apparent suicide attempt. Service was shut down on the New Haven line shortly before 9 p.m.

A man struck by a Metro-North train in New Rochelle has died.
Police say Fernando Aguilar, 40, died in an apparent suicide attempt.
Service was shut down on the New Haven line shortly before 9 p.m. yesterday as emergency responders removed the man from beneath the train.
Aguilar was rushed to Montefiore Medical Center in New Rochelle where he later died.
