A judge in Cortlandt ruled today that bail for Robert McCain will not change, meaning he will remain behind bars.

McCain was convicted in 1981 of murdering a teenage girl in Pearl River.

Earlier this month, while out on parole, he was charged with forcibly touching a woman at a dog park in Cortlandt.

The judge said he made the decision to keep McCain’s bail the same after hearing the state wanted him jailed for a parole violation.

McCain says he is innocent of the new charge.
