Two teens, charged in a hate crime attack on Black Friday at the Palisades Mall, faced a judge today.
Chris Bujaj, of Tuckahoe, and Ardijan Mehaj, of Yonkers, appeared in Clarkstown Town Court in New City. Mehaj was released without bail today, while Bujaj had previously been released after posting bail.
Police say the 17-year-olds attacked five people, leaving them with bumps, bruises and one with a broken wrist. They say the pair randomly assaulted Jewish customers at the mall and made anti-Semitic comments.
Police are still looking for a third suspect. He is described as a white male, 5'6"-5'8", and was wearing a black vest, grey hoodie and dark jeans.
