Teenager seriously injured in pedestrian accident on Saw Mill Parkway

According to Westchester County Police, a livery driver informed them that he had the green light when he heard a noise, indicating the collision with a pedestrian.

A 16-year-old boy was seriously injured Monday night when he was struck by a car while crossing the Saw Mill River Parkway.
The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. in the northbound lanes at the Lawrence Street intersection in Dobbs Ferry.
According to Westchester County Police, a livery driver informed them that he had the green light when he heard a noise, indicating the collision with a pedestrian.
A Dobbs Ferry police officer provided initial first aid to the victim before he was transported to Westchester Medical Center for further treatment.
Police are continuing their investigation into determining who had the right of way at the time of the incident.
