Luxury apartments that were once home to the old Yonkers Public Library were unveiled Wednesday near Getty Square.
The "library lofts" are located at 5 Main St. in Downtown Yonkers.
Yonkers officials secured a Restore New York grant of almost $5.5 million for the restoration.
The 9,000-square-foot building has retail space below and houses 23 studios and one- and two-bedroom lofts on the second and third floors.
The lofts feature granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and washer and dryers inside the units.
The builder says the rent for a one-bedroom loft ranges between $1,700 and $2,000.
Four units remain unrented.
