Legoland officials say they have identified a number of areas to build an East Coast theme park, including Orange County.

Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus says Legoland is looking at eight Orange County locations that were formerly considered during casino talks.

Legoland was considering Haverstraw, but complaints from neighbors scrapped the plans.

Orange County residents seem to be much more receptive to plans for a theme park, water park and hotel in their backyard.

A spokesperson for Legoland confirmed that Orange is an option for their proposed East Coast location.

Neuhaus says plans are in place for a second round of tours in coming weeks.

Legoland executives expect the park to bring in 2 million visitors each year.
