Local and state lawmakers are gathering Monday morning in Bedford Hills to urge the Public Service Commission to "rein in" NYSEG's proposed rate increases for 2026.

No rate increases are determined yet, according to officials with NYSEG. They say they are in the middle of the rate case process with the PSC.

The proposal was filed last summer.
