An actor from
White Plains is being honored for his big moves in the TV world as a
Caribbean-American.
White Plains native Nick Creegan visited the Bronx at Coffee Bay
restaurant to receive his Blue and Bougie Award. Event co-creator and
restaurant owner Jerry McDonald says they chose Creegan as their honoree
because of the great strides he's been making in his career.
The actor says he's proud to represent his Jamaican heritage and
receive the award. Creegan also received a certificate of recognition from the
City of Mount Vernon.
Viewers can catch Creegan on Law & Order: Organized Crime on
NBC and also Batwoman on the CW.
