A Yonkers landscaper and father of three was struck and killed by his own car.
Hopeton Samuels, 70, was working on an estimate for a customer in front of 15 Teramar Way in Greenburgh when his van rolled onto him.
Officials say it's unclear whether he'd used the parking brake.
Samuels had moved from Jamaica to the U.S. more than 30 years ago, according to his family.
Police have taken the van to the Greenburgh Town Highway Garage to see if there was a mechanical malfunction that caused the accident.
