The Labor Department says unemployed workers won't lose payments due to the delayed signing of a new COVID relief bill.
The measure includes a $300 federal boost in weekly payments for workers collecting unemployment benefits that lasts 11 weeks.
Some lawmakers were concerned some payments may be missed because of how long it took the bill to go through.
But the payments are retroactive to the end of December. The benefit goes until March 14.
