A one-story home in Kent was destroyed by a fast-moving fire early Wednesday morning.
The home is located at 21 Kent Lake Ave.
Several fire departments were called in, but icy and narrow road conditions made getting to the fire tricky.
Crews used a fleet of tanker trucks to douse the flames and prevent them from spreading to nearby homes and an oil tank.
No one was home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
